What inspired you to become an actress? 
I think the turning point for me was probably when I did the Broadway tour of "Showboat."  I loved every minute of it and when I realized that you could also get a paycheck and make a living at it, I was hooked.

Who are some of your Hollywood friends?
Usually people that I have worked and spent time on sets with:  people like Jason Dolley, Selena Gomez, David Henrie, the Jonas Brothers, Jennifer Stone.

If you weren’t an actress, what would you be?
I love this business, so I would probably still want to be involved in some capacity... maybe as a writer or a casting director.  I was always really interested in the ocean and sea life as well... so I might have pursued some sort of marine biology.

What advice would you give to someone who wanted to pursue their acting career?
Do as much theater as you can.  I was lucky that I grew up near Valley Youth Theater in Phoenix and received an amazing education there.  You learn timing and blocking and memorization and other skills that will help you in everything you do.  I would also recommend getting as much experience as you can before you head for LA or NY to try the "big time."  It really makes a difference if you have the credits on your resume.

How did you like filming Minutemen?
Minutemen was a blast.  It was a great group of very talented actors and we all hit it off instantly.  We were in a hotel together in Utah... and even when we would finish a long work day... we all wanted to hit the pool or dinner or a movie together.  It was unusual for everyone to get along so well... especially because we were all different ages.

Who is your celeb crush?
Probably Shia LaBeouf or John Mayer.

How would your friends and family describe you?
Hmmm... I'm not sure.  Probably a perfectionist.  And hopefully as a kind, good person.

What do you want to accomplish most as an actress?
To stay working!  I want to do it all... work with other amazing actors, be in award-winning movies... have a TV series... do broadway for awhile... the works!
